“Highlight added”, with a route to a note
In Genesis 1 (NKJV), verses 25 and 26 carry overlapping pink and yellow highlights. A toast at the bottom reads “Highlight added” with an “Add Note” action.

Design takeaway
Confirming the mark and offering a note in the same moment keeps capture quick and deeper reflection optional. Add undo, and make overlapping marks distinguishable without colour.
